Word for Mac became part of the journey
I've struggled to get an original idea off the ground and the story of the journey came together as a story about a koala that wanted to learn to fly. When lacking inspiration I've often looked at my story and how "Harry Koala" copes and finally succeeds.
The story remained on my computer for year, occasionally finding publishers only to fall at the last hurdle. Finally, just as Harry did, I solved the problem myself. I found some wonderful footage of Australian animals and put the video on Youtube as "Harry Koala learning to fly".

My Proudest Word for Mac Document
I left my job in the worst possible recession of my lifetime and founded a new company based on a business plan I wrote in Word. In trading in my one job, I've created eight and educated thousands of people on clean technologies. Word for Mac has been my constant companion throughout.

A simple resume
The Word doc I'm most proud of is my professional resume I made a long time ago but have continually tweaked through all the OFM years. It's gotten me at least 3 jobs I can think of, and I hope to be able to add more stuff to it with Office for Mac 2011!

Office for Mac is AMAZING!!!
Wow, it is so very hard to choose just one document that I am most proud of writing via the use of Word for Mac. Above all the argumentative/persuasive essays I have written in college I would have to say that the literary work I am most proud of is the book that I am currently writing now. I had an amazingly vivid dream one night while at college and immediately had to write it down. So I turned to my trusty Microsoft Word Application on my Mac and began to type. A few hours later I had already typed 47 pages, aka-the first six chapters. If it weren't for Word being on my mac, I would have had to either use the gosh-aweful text edit application on my mac, or write it out by hand; nether of which would have enabled me to legislate my dream/story in a timely manor. Thanks Microsoft Office for Mac Team!

Letters to my Wife
While serving in the Marines in the late 90's I wrote dozens of letters to my wife (we had just gotten married only weeks prior to my deployment) while aboard Navy ships off the coast of Africa. To preserve the letters for our kids who we did not have when I wrote them I retyped every one of them into Word over the course of a few weekends. Was a great project and a fun way to revisit old memories of my new marriage and a great way to learn word. And because I retyped them I'll have them forever and be able to pass them along to my kids.

The best announcement possible
This is easy; the document I'm most proud of creating on Word for Mac was the announcement of my beautiful daughter's birth back in November 2009.
Best thing to ever happen to me, and certainly the best document I've ever created in my life. So much pride in a simple Word document!

My Summer 2010 Travel Plans
Flight details, ticket costs, hotels booking, daily activities, inserting a print screen image of bloukrans bridge to remind myself what a wonderful jump I will be having, text boxes here and there in the document to mimic post-its notes.
Everything was done easily, saved in doc format, sent to my party mates, and everyone is happy!

Thanks letter to Parents on Anniversary
Made a document loaded with photos and colors telling my parents how great they are. I included a lot of small and big memories I had and a lot of photos to go back in time and thanks them for all they have done and are doing for me. I presented this to them on their anniversary and my dad got it framed and it now sits on their bedroom wall

Note Taking for Bar Exam Preparation Course
First, I'm so glad the legal community has (mostly) moved on to Word from Wordperfect. Second, the built-in note taking functions of Word really helped me to study for the CA bar exam back in '08. I still refer back to these notes whenever I need a refresher on contract law!

A press release
I think it has to be a press release on quite a boring subject that got used verbatim in all the regional newspapers - each with a journalist using their own byline. I still laugh when I wonder if any of their editors actually noticed that they seemed to have written exactly the same thing as their competitors. I'd say they quoted it Word Perfect, but actually it was just Word for Mac 2008.

Writing with Word for Mac
I am being apologetic that I have nothing yet to be most proud of writing with Word for Mac. Just be gracious if I do sound like an idiot here. I do have a dream... a goal that I want to achieve for the remaining days of my life---to write an article, a short memoir, or novel using Word for Mac 2011---and I intend to get it published, someday, as a starter. I have just purchased my first iMac computer, last year, and I found it amazingly affectionate to me! Having been in love to use word documents, I purchased and installed an Office for Mac 2008 on my OS X. And I found it even more stunning! So cooperative, that I use the Word for Mac at the end of the day to express my feelings, daily hardships and leisures! So here I am, hoping to win the Office for Mac 2011 contest so I can expand my horizon in intelligently using Mac Systems.

Word version on my PC has advantages
I decided to switch to Mac as Windows has massive amount of problems (mainly it freezes). I use Office for Mac for maximum compatibility with my PC-using coworkers and clients - lets be honest there are more of them then Mac users.
What I do not like is that some graphic settings (size of frame boxes for example) etc are not always identical and small manual changes are needed if you pay a lot of attention on quality lay-out after wanting to print the file the same way on Mac then on PC. I also tried iWorks, it was very good program with massive amount of compatibility problems with Office, so I could not see the benefit of using it. OpenOffice is just uncomfortable.
I need Office and mostly Word as day-to-day tool to do most of what I do in consulting business as well as writing articles or books as a hobby or correcting work on my students while sometimes teaching in Universities. In general it is good! Some ways its better then PC version - more available templates, etc. But what truly irritates me is that for some reason it is not keeping fonts in the same format when you copy-and-paste. You have to constantly reformat fonts if they are not your default Mac fonts. That was way better with PC version, never had that kind of a problem. I have tried to find help but have not found heavy users of Word (I probably use most of it if mathematic formulas are left out). Other thing that irritates is that "Open file" windows are passive. In PC they were active for copy-paste and re-arrange files. Here changes and copying of files have to be done in Finder. I have to be honest on that area Windows has been successful to out competition Mac OS X! Even Mac has much other stronger points from Spaces to Security etc.
I like Mac version of Word more for one reason it does not fail so much! When PC version started to fail you needed a restart computer. Here it mostly runs very good. And when it has a problem you Force Quit it and open it and it runs again. Mac is simply better base. Bigger files (I sometimes use word files with size up to 30-50 MB with pictures) run way better on Mac then on PC.
What I miss in my Office 2008 is Outlook and Access. The last was heavily used by me and right now it seems to be one of the view reasons (besides lacking MapInfo ProView) why I consider to install Parallels and Windows to Mac. What is way-way better in Mac Office is Powerpoint. Totally other level! I like it a lot as it is second most used program by me.
One thing - if you could add a simple photo editor to Office that does not copy files into it a la iPhoto a la Photo Editor or Picture Manager. It would make communication with pictures way easier with PC world as well as with MS Word, Powerpoint etc. Photoshop etc are good tools but way to fancy and expensive for me who is not professional on photography. Add something like this and I see added value in Office 2011!

Seamless Windows-Mac-Windows transition
At work we use Word for document creation. They are large and our templates are complex with automatic properties, fields, links, graphics, tables and all you can imagine.
I can take such documents created at work on a Windows PC home to my Mac, modify in Office for Mac and return to work - formating and all specialities of linking and special fields are peerfect! This is very very good!
Only one improvement is desired. I would like the keyboard shortcuts in Office, especially in Excel; to be harmonized. A program internal list of such would also be a good thing (it is missing in both Win and Mac versions)
Through the years I have generated documents in word which have led to passing classes, getting jobs, ending relationships, expressing volumes of breakup poetry, and I have even written my first novel.
I have been commissioned to write many resume's for friends, and little do they know it's just the Word templates that make them look so professional.
If I have to use any other program, I feel frustrated at its inadequacy. Word is the best.

I posted this on Twitter a couple of days ago, but for those of you who missed it, here's a link to the document that I'm most proud of writing on a Mac using Word. Just a month prior to his passing, I bought a brand new 17" MBP and a copy of Office for Mac. This was the first *important* item I wrote using Office 2004 - and it's still my most important - and the one I'm proudest of.
I added a few pictures of my Dad to the page....as well as a rendition of "Feed the Birds." I hope you have a few tears in your eyes by the time you get to the end - and then go hug your Mom and/or Dad.
For those that missed it, this is a repeat from a Tweet I sent last week. I wrote my Dad's Eulogy three years ago - about a month after buying a MBPro and Office 2004. It's definitely the work I'm most proud of - although I wish every single day that the need hadn't arisen. As for the snowglobe - I know it's become a treasured item by my Mom; prominently placed in her home and certainly not within reach of her grandchildren.

I am pioneering the paperless dissertation with Word for Mac
That almost sums it up. I recently defended my dissertation (June 12th), which I worked on for about a year-and-a-half. During that time, I made it a point to maximize the full potential of my workflow. Word for Mac (2004) was the canvas for the final product, from inception to completion.
As far as I can tell, no one else has written a dissertation without using a single piece of paper. I've begun chronicling how I wrote a Paperless Dissertation on my blog (just can't bring myself to the shameless self-promotion point, although I'd really love to post my url) to try and spread an idea to students everywhere that a more productive, efficient, and less wasteful way of writing is already here.
For me, Word for Mac became a tool for life. No other word processor offers the depth and breadth of tools that I need to complete highly complex and detailed documents. Done and done. Don't know what I would have done without it.

Children's book
I had always wanted to create a book for children. One day, a story idea came together in my mind, so I sat down and began writing in Word. The story went through countless edits, and eventually grew into a beautiful picture book. But without Word's outlining and editing features, it would have been impossible to work productively with my editor.

Dissertation!
My favorite document is my dissertation.
When I switched to Macs several years ago I had just finished my Master's in Education. I had designs on starting a Ph.D. program but was honestly scared that my documents would not be compatible for my professors.
I took the plunge with MS Office for Mac 2004. I quickly found out that I was able to send documents back and forth with my colleagues and professors without any issues. I am able to see their tracked changes, suggestions, clarifications, and general comments without problem.
So then I upgraded to MS Office 2008. This upgrade absolutely made my day because it handles complicated bibliographies with ease! As it stands now, my dissertation has more than 100 references.
I exported the bibliography from a program called Papers, which exports directly into MS Word 2008. I then write my results, and can cite with total ease. I have completely removed EndNote X2 in favor of the Office 2008 bibliography tool. It's wonderful.
So my work continues.
Oh wait, why am I here commenting? I need to go back to work on my dissertation.

Reports made easy
In school I was writing a term paper on Old English literature. One of the most difficult things could have been abiding by the MLA format style. I've seen people try to manually space things to put the page numbers at the top, or even try to write the citation themselves! With Word for Mac, I could automatically insert paginated headers, and it even did the citation for me! It was a time saver, and a life saver! Without it I would have had the most difficult time focusing on the document formatting rather than its content.

Most Proud of Writing with Word for Mac
The writing that I am the most proud of with Office for Mac was a SOW (Statement of Work) that I created for a customer. I was easily able to add a cover page, table of contents, links, and even a sources list without having to edit all of it myself. Using the built in Table of Contents feature, I took my work and added a Table of Contents listing in page numbers, etc... I didn't have to update the TOC manually when I made a change. I love that feature!

Most proud of?
I wrote my entire dissertation in MS word on my Mac laptop. Stuck myself in a library for 3 days a week for more than 2 years writing, researching, doing calculations in Excel, and ultimately getting my Ph.D. in psychology. Emailed my drafts back and forth (via Entourage) to my professor who was on a PC via RTF format (he had word for the PC) and was able to just keep working on this one, giant document (200+ pages) for years until the beast was done. The day I finished the last of the references and hit "save" was a happy day indeed...

WOW! I really think that a story of tragedy
They have been so many million times I've used "word" to in my lifetime, to choose a specific text is a bit complicated, but I think the best thing done in "Word" was a story about a peasant Written for a Film Workshop, which was selected as three of the best, making this script on a story for youth.

Hey, there's a reason for everything :)
I've got couple for you
First one was a love letter I have made, while flying to Seattle WA. I was supposed to be a birthday gift for my girlfriend by her best friends. I had no idea how beautiful it'd be, until I saw happy tears in her eyes. But 'til then I worked on a small love letter, wrote down a poem I have made, had a nice background picture of us 2, and "I love you forever" cover. Thing is, Office For Mac is just so intelligent, and I love the way how I'm able to save the document as .PDF after the celebration was done, I gave her the printed version of the Letter I made, and she held onto it 'til today even after 2 years. We together sit down and cuddle, she brings the letter sometimes and says "it was the most wonderful thing, and the only thing that is left from the Surprise party" I'm sure it was the best birthday gift I have ever handed to a person.
2nd one is, I had this small trouble with group of people back in High school. They used to call me by weird names, and let me down. I've finally went to the deans office, and told 'em about what happens. They then told me to write a report, include everybody's names and so much more. I went home after school that day, sat on my computer, fired up Word for Mac. Then I realized none of those guys deserved a suspension, and it would only bring more trouble. I ended up writing what causes a trouble, why teenagers let one another down, why their friends add fire to the fight. It was then featured in my high school's Student Diary / Student Hand Book next year that even made my parents proud true story by Denver South High School student

My Wedding Vows
I still have a 5.25" floppy disk of Word 1.0 for the PC, so I go back pretty far as using Word, but I'm most proud of writing my wedding vows on Word on my PowerBook 180 some 14 years ago. It was a short document, but one with lasting (and still lasting) effect.

The document that I am most proud of writing with Word for Mac is my last work term report (for my second of 3 work terms) about Youth Occupational Health and Safety. This was not only my work term report but one of the 41 initiatives of the Youth Retention and Attraction Strategy (www.youth.gov.nl.ca) aimed at helping attracting and retaining people to live and work here in Newfoundland and Labrador. As well when I received my mark for this paper my marker even noted how nice it was for a student to write about something they cared so deeply about.

My Brother's wedding toast
I was my brother's Best Man at his wedding. I had to write the toast to the new Bride and Groom. I spent hours writing and rewriting the toast so it would come out just right. Word was the program to make it happen.
P.S. Some attendees at that wedding said the toast was better than the ceremony.

My proudest document typed on Word
I love having my Mac book & when I first bought it I bought office 2008 with it, because I had to have it! The main reason I decided to go with a Mac with office 2008 is because of one of my favorite shows, Sex in the City, I have dreamed of being a writer for over 10 years, but never felt like I had anything to write about, so I decided to be like the main character in the movie & get a Mac & of course I had to have office to go with it. I've only had my Mac & office 2008 for Mac for about a year and since then I have been inspired to begin writing a book. I guess the motivation came from wanting to be on my Mac all of the time and I was very excited about how great Word looks on a Mac. One day the details of the book came to me so clearly and so it began. I'm not finished with the book yet, but I am getting close, I love some of the cool features that you can use in word to help put the book in the correct format. You know what they say, once you go Word on Mac, you will never go back! Thanks for being my inspiration and I can't wait for the world to see the novel I'm working on.

A Document For The Ages- Written On Word For Mac
My husband worked very hard at a full-time job (including overtime) while attending school to get a better position in the IT field- hopefully within the same Fortune 500 company in which we both worked.
After two consecutive years of using all of his vacation time to take numerous certification exams, and after graduating with a brand new degree (with highest honors),he was turned down over and over again for positions for which he was well qualified- without any explanation given.
Very discouraged, he was ready to give up and look outside the company, which would mean he would lose seniority and his earned vacation, in addition to leaving a company in which he had made many friends and was considered to be a valuable employee.
I offered to help him draft a letter to the company's new CEO, who had made several public statements about wanting the company to thrive and welcoming employee input. He was somewhat reluctant, feeling it might be regarded as insolent by the corporate staff.
Together we wrote a very heartfelt, respectful letter, explaining the situation and how although my husband would prefer to remain at the company, if he could not have his efforts and education recognized, he would have no choice but to leave and seek opportunities elsewhere.
We really had no idea when we sent it off if the CEO would even see it, much less respond, but I think it helped my husband to document the situation and his feelings about it.
Two weeks after the letter was sent, my husband was called into his supervisor's office. He was told that it had been requested from the corporate office that he be hand-delivered an envelope from the CEO.
Nervously he opened it, and was surprised to find a hand written note from the CEO, thanking him for his well-worded letter, and promising to have someone call him from HR within the next few days.
He did receive that call, and a meeting was arranged to review his situation. On the way back from that meeting, he received a call that they had already found him a relevant position, and he was on his way to a new career- one which he had worked very hard to realize.
They also told him that his letter had alerted the CEO to problems with their hiring practices that he wanted rectified immediately.
So, my husband got his dream job, and ended up helping others within the company realize their own dreams as well.
And all because of a letter that almost didn't get written.

Contest Entry: My Best Doc
My 60 page magnum opus: "Exchange 2010 Migration Design and Architecture" for the large global enterprise I am employed at. It covers our design and migration as we move from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 globally. It is sweet and I am very proud of it. It took over six months to compile and complete. Letters to Grandma
When I was a kid, I used to practice typing on our Apple IIgs, hammering out letters to my grandparents who lived 1500 miles away. My grandfather would send back replies, often marked with many red pen marks and corrections in an effort to make me a better writer. This was long before the customary red squiggly line under typos. He was a writer and jack of all trades, but didn't get a chance to see how a solid, modern word processor functioned. I'd write him letters convincing him how great computers were, and he'd always send back a rebuttal, neatly typed out and error-free from his Smith Corona electronic word processor—that was modern enough for him.
Now, some 13 years after my grandfather's death, I still like writing to my grandmother, who now at the age of 90 always sends a reply sans corrections. I type up my letters in Word, and she always sends back an old fashioned, hand-written note. That’s always a nice incentive to keep writing and mailing.

in 2009, National Magazine, published by the Canadian Bar Association, ran an article I wrote about the best Canadian law firm websites. That article earned an Honourable Mention at the 2010 Canadian Magazine industry's Kenneth R. Wilson Awards - my first such award!

Word for Office Mac
The document I'm most proud of that was created using Office Mac Word would have to be the Strategic Business Plan for my company. We utilize various Mac machines & due to the complexity of office related tasks, I chose to use Office Mac instead of the iWork programs that are available. In all aspects of our business, Office Mac provides more complex functions & processes and we prefer it over iWork.
The Strategic Business Plan was created to forecast & document the organization's 5 year activities, market strategies, financial budget, & production. I detailed the products & lines of businesses that would be offered over that 5 year period, the new market areas that would be pursued, new & relevant organizational changes, financial historical data & forecasts for the 5 year period as well as production historical data & forecasts for the 5 year period.
As an avid Apple user & lover of their products, I attempted to carry out this task using iWork but found it to be lacking in the complex & advanced areas that I have grown accustomed to in Office platforms. After much frustration, we purchased Office for Mac and I was able to efficiently & effectively complete the Strategic Business Plan as well as many other business documents such as leases, contracts, billing statements, business proposals & many others.

What I am most proud of writing on Word for Mac
I am in my first 21st century technology class. I am so proud of my BIG writing portfolio project for the class. Using my iMac and Word 2008 made it so easy. I had to learn to use the Grab tool, put those screen shots into my Word document and write reflections after trying various Web 2.0 technologies. I have mastered the Toolbox and can find the page I want quickly using the Navigation. This is the first big writing project that I've used with Word 2008. (I'm a former Pages user.)
I am very proud to have accomplished my portfolio on Word 2008 for Mac.

My Writing Life
My best work I wrote in Word for Mac was a poem, based on the book "the writing life". I wrote about... how I write. I detailed my procrastinating and even the features of Word I use, like the very helpful thesaurus and spellchecker, all in very colorful language. My teacher loved it! Word: Through the Good Times and the Bad...
I had an AP English teacher in high school who was really tough on me. No matter what I wrote, it was never good enough. I hated him (at the time) and I hated the class because I never understood exactly what he was looking for. I passed the class, but I still felt like a failure.
I was scared to death to write an essay in my college English Composition. I didn’t want a repeat of the AP English nightmare. Finally, I got tired of being afraid. When we received our first assignment—an essay about our biggest failure—I sat down at the computer and poured my heart out to Word about that AP English class. I stopped worrying about punctuation and grammar, concentrating solely on putting words to my emotions.
When I got my essay back, the last page bore the comment, “I’m really going to enjoy reading your work this term!” I had finally found whatever I’d previously been lacking and it felt amazing. That wasn’t my best essay ever, but it’s definitely memorable for me because that’s when I finally gained confidence in my writing. I can’t help but thank Word for the part it played in that victory.

High School Novella or Letter to a Cousin
I want to say what my most memorable document that I made with Word is instead: going back to my childhood, that would either be a version of The Inferno set in the Batman: The Animated Series world or the first letter I wrote to my cousin in which I was amazed that I could insert a little picture and have the text wrap around it so easily.

What comes to mind is the weekly report I do for our church, compiling the prayer requests we receive each Sunday so people can pray for needs. Making this a document that's easily accessible is important!

My Proudest Word for Mac Document
I have written a lot of papers on my ol' iMac G5 with Word, yet perhaps my most favorite is one of my final college papers, "The Humor Hoop," in which I lament the lack of humor in standardized testing and suggest ways to fix it.
My office forgot to get our co-worker a card for her baby shower, so i somehow whipped together a gift card for her on MS word, with clip art and line art, and it she thought it was actually printed by the store! So for now on my office co-workers always use my template for giftcards hahaha.

My Senior Capstone Paper
Without a doubt it would have to be the capstone paper about my life's journey thus far that I wrote for my IB English class during my senior year. You have no idea how convenient it was to flawlessly have a 25 page paper go back and forth between a Windows and Mac OSX environment for review and peer editing, all while meeting various submission deadlines; truly a lifesaver!

I used MS Word on my iMac to write a creepy little short story in 2009 called "Under the Bed".
It ended up winning the Parsec Award in 2009 for "Best Speculative Fiction Story (Short Form)".

I was proud when I wrote my first Chemistry paper with all the proper formatting and citations! Granted it was not published but yeah I felt good! Word easily tackled all the columns and graphs easily.

The document that I'm most proud of writing on Word for Mac is a letter to my mom thanking her for teaching me to grow up to be a great woman. I wrote her a letter saying I hope to be half the woman she is one day. And she loved it as much as I loved writing it. Thanx office for mac!

I'm currently an unpublished author, but since my junior year in college, I've had this urge to write a children's book. Fast forward to over 20 years later- I started writing a story about a "tweener" boy who learns to play the voilin. I finished it in 2006 using MS Word X on a 12" PowerBook G4. My trusty PowerBook has since been passed along to my teenager who typed out his senior projects on Word this past year. Though my manuscript has been rejected a couple of times, I'll just keep on submitting it until someone likes it enough to put it in print... and it's still my proudest moment of writing on Word for Mac.

Valentine's newsletter for my son's grandparents
I wanted to check out Word's project templates and found a beautiful newsletter that I wasn't sure what to use for. Well, for Valentine's Day 2010, I created a single page letter with a caption and photos of our 1 year old boy for his grandmama and grandpapa across the country. They loved it. I was glad we made and sent it, instead of a regular Hallmark card.

Well, I did my final English studies paper on Word for Mac. Believe me, working at 4 in the morning is a huge pain but luckily, using Word was a breeze. I was able to finish and submit it on time while avoiding the huge mocha line in the morning.

TV adaptation
As a consultant on the television adaptation of a fantasy novel, I greatly enjoyed creating a chapter by chapter breakdown & synopsis for the in-development television series. The Word doc, created on Mac, was easily shared with the project producers, one using Mac, one using Windows.

Great Man
Well I might have something to tell. We all know how advanced the world is getting with all this cool stuff...But wait. I said in this doc what would happen if the world really did suddenly collapse. All tech lost' all connections lost. This is an epic story about a group of young techie people who never knew a world without technology. This epic story is about them learning to survive without this and even learning how to make all this advanced tech...themselves. Believe me this could happen especially with climate change and pollution.

Getting over a crush
Well, because I'm a high school writer and journalist, there are a lot of things I could say here. An award-winning report, contest-winning short stories... but no, I'd have to say my most emotionally gratifying work was a small essay I wrote while taking English Comp.
While I was involved in a theatrical production, I got a crush (no surprise there) on an attractive girl I'd been in a class with the year before (I had a crush on another girl so I kind of ignored her back then). We got along for a while, but as I wrote her a poem she had already decided that she wanted to be left alone - and all contact suddenly ceased. I was... crushed... because she wouldn't tell me what I'd done wrong.
A few months later, my Comp class gets assigned a Narrative Essay, and I decide the best way to fully "get over it" is to write about my experience. I got an A both in my mind and in my grade.

My Pride and Joy
During the last semester of my senior year I had an assignment you had to see to believe. I was in an Entrepreneurship in the Music Industry class to fulfill the requirements of my Music Management minor. Our final project for the class was to write a complete business plan that was at least 90 pages long! At first I cringed at all of the organizing and writing and graphic placements that I would have to do but I jumped on the school’s Mac, pulled up Word and got to work! It was very easy! I inserted images and charts with ease and was able to type around them with no problem what so ever. My final project was 157 pages of pure genius and inspiration (for lack of better terms lol). My teacher was very impressed and the last grade I got before graduation was the A++ that I got on that assignment

Thesis
I typed up my thesis entirely in Word, with EndNote citations and figures embedded throughout. The text was flawless, and the program was able to handle the rather long document very well. I was proud of the end product and thankful that there exists a tool to help me communicate my work the way I want it to be communicated.

A Magical Brief...
It only happens once in a lucky attorney's life. His or her first brief on a case being considered by the Supreme Court of the United States. A brief that is going to be read by nine of the most influential people in the country. A brief that will hopefully influence one or more of them to accept your position.
I wrote my first brief to the Supreme Court in Microsoft Word. On a Mac. I still have the fifteen or so versions of the document saved in a yellow-highlighted, all-caps folder named "SC BRIEF DONT DELETE". Granted, I only wrote the brief less than a year ago, but I have yet to ever write another document that I have been more proud of.

A column I wrote for a magazine
I usually wrote my magazine's "editor's note" from my Powerbook using Mac Office. There's one note in particular that I'm very proud of because I took a stand on tolerance and understanding of people who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction. It wasn't a popular stand to take at the time: A prominent businessman had been arrested and most people in the community were more than happy to jump on the pile and condemn him. But I followed my conscience.

Entering graduate school I had to admit that I was a Word for Mac amateur. By the time I completed my degree, not only had I learned a thing or two about the subject matter, but was able to reflect that I had also earned an advanced degree in Wordsmanship, so pretty much all my papers, manuscripts and projects.

Undergraduate Term Paper
I returned to university to finish my degree after a very long absence. I agonized over whether to by a Mac or PC. I wasn't sure about the compatibility. The sales person talked me into a Macbook Pro and Office for Mac 2008 student edition. I could not have been happier. I am proud of all of the work I have created with Word for Mac but the thing I am most proud of is the 2500 word criminology paper I wrote. I received a perfect mark....100% on my paper...The professor remarked on the content of the paper but also on how well the paper was formatted. I owe it all to Word for Mac. It made writing a breeze and I especially like the Formatting Palette. Everything is at your finger tips and easily accessible.....I really enjoy using Word for Mac.....

my first client memo
I just started a solo law practice and was under deadline to deliver a crisp and concise memo to a client's board of directors. Coming from a large law firm environment, I didn't want it to appear -- well -- like a solo lawyer had typed it. Voila -- there was the perfect style right there for my document. Looked beautiful and much better than the Times New Roman 12 pt font I used to use under "firm style."

Word is versatile with the capabilities built in to manipulate character strings as artwork so that salient information can be highlighted in color, character strings can be bent, 3D and shadow effects can be applied. The results are posters and flyers that catch the casual viewer's eyes and entices them to join in the event.

Prayer Hours
I think I am most proud of using Word to publish our various prayer hours for our community.

Family History
In the past year I discovered my family history dating back to 1708 in Canada. It was with great pleasure that I was able to document my family history and ancestors using word and sharing this with all of my immediate family as well as with distant cousins that I did not even know I had. I composed my inspiration (based upon my sixteen year old cat) directly into Word. And already I am on my way to being published. I can tell. A war story... in first person.
I recently served in Iraq and Afghanistan as MS AD/Exchange, SATCOM and LOS COMMS SME. I had the privileged to move about the battle space to serve our volunteers when they were in a time of need. Many of times I witnessed great humanitarian missions and other times I was in vehicles that hit IED or ridding in a helo taking fire. My macbook mad it though all of that and Word 2008 for Mac was there to help take my notes.
Office and OSX are battle tested and I do not leave home with either of them now.

Documents I'm most proud of
Amazingly enough, my most prized Word documents were created very recently for school. Using images found on the Internet as part of my research for these classroom assignments, I was able to integrate text and images together professionally along with a quick caption underneath the pictures. Word has also helped me create a resume that I'm extremely proud of with the use of one of the built-in templates.

Outline, outline, outline
Ever since I was little I can remember reading books upon books, upon books. Most were wild adventures set in far off lands that only the imagination could bring to life. Even now I remember thinking to myself, "if I had written this story would I have had this character do that?". The older I get the more my passion seems to come alive for writing. The document I'm most proud of writing is the outline to my first epic fantasy. Although in it's infancy, this outline has provided an outlet to all the ideas, characters, and places I'd catch myself thinking about when reading one of these books. I try to remember the things I liked and disliked about each book I read. This outline is all these things bunched up into one.
I'm most proud that I started it, hopefully one day I'll be able to come back and say I started writing, and then finished it one day too.

My course assignment on Moving Image Education.
I was working on a course at university which involved using Moving Images in teaching practices. It was all new to me and I had a lot to learn. After lots of hard work the assignment was to be completed.
I used Office for mac to write my assignment as it made it easy for me to make links within the document to the video and photograph sections of my assignment. It worked like a dream and did such a good job that I got a pass with distinction, a very good grade her in bonnie auld Scotland.
I used word to write up the assignment, powerpoint to deliver the presentation that was also part othe task and endnote to add all the citations that I always find difficult. Together they made my task all that much easier, they didn't let me down so all I had to do was get my part of the whole thing down there! What a partnership we were! I was so proud of the end product it made me desparate to share it with my tutors and they were very happy at how I had used the software and had integrated film and photographs as well as spoken comments from children into my work.
I give full marks to Office for mac, a trusted friend and a shoulder to lean on!

Pro Bono Translations for GREENPEACE, Europe of e.g. Sustainable Fishing Reports
I've long used WORD for Mac (currently the 2008 version) to write all my translations, as I'm a dyed in the wool Mac fan.
HOWEVER -- as far as translators are concerned, MS made a big (nearly unforgiveable) mistake when it eliminated VBA macros from its WORD 2008 functions for Mac users.
Professional translators MUST use macros/VBA whenever we work for almost any translation agency, for most agencies demand that we deliver our texts formatted according to TRADOS or Wordfast or similar CAT tools (no ifs, ands or buts). They demand this because they insist on counting and comparing the so-called translation units for similar formulations, 100% repetitions and accounting purposes. These units are perfectly delineated with VBA macros. Or they were, until Microsoft decided we Mac users shouldn't have that function anymore....
Thus, at present I can only use an online CAT tool in a very limited "cloud", which my agency clients do NOT appreciate.
So "thanks" to this MS whim, many of us WORD for Mac users have lost crucial accounts and income. Therefore we're looking forward to the next version of WORD, as we've heard (!) you're correcting this in WORD 2010(?). If so, it can't come soon enough.

My proudest Mac Word moment
I have to say that as a new Mac user (and veteran PC Word) user, my proudest moment was writing my first article to be published in a magazine. I have been a blogger for years but actually writings something that was going to be printed in a magazine was really exciting. Being able to go back into Word and see my document and then see it in a magazine too (Allergic Living Magazine) was really thrilling. I was very proud of myself and all of my hard work through the years.

Weekly messages
Word for Mac is the awesome tool I use in preparing the messages that I must have ready to present to those in attendance at our church on a weekly basis. It is easy to move between languages - English, Hebrew, & Greek. It is simple to copy & paste passages from God's Bible. And the wide range of fonts help keep the weekly programs looking fresh and new.
Word for Mac helps me produce materials that I am proud of every week!

All of my notes get typed into Word (a way to study) but it gives me a file with all of my notes where I can re-visit them and study as well as use them for references. Just as I keep all my law books for reference having my notes in a great file source is awesome!

Master's level papers
Taking Master's classes online requires APA format for which MacWord has a template. The University I attend requires a paper a week. Word makes it easy by keeping all previously used references as well as formatting them in APA.

All my correspondence (letters and faxes) is done on my MS Word but, currently, I am producing a Manual for my successor as administrator of a scholarship that I have operated with zero back up. With one kid in college on the west coast, along with his older sister working on her first job as well as another kid in Switzerland, I try to keep everybody up to speed with a weekly letter. Words of Love for my Son
I used Word for Mac to compose a love letter to my newborn son. Expressing my personal emotions surrounding his miraculous and difficult birth. My hope is that when he is older, and of understanding, the letter will help to even further connect him to his mother and me, and create an inseparable bond of love between us all. In this day and age of disconnected families...we need all the help we can muster! And Word for Mac was my tool of choice to assist me in accomplishing this important goal.

The one I am most proud of is the Predatory Behavior of the Credit Card Industry on America for an Advance Composition class in college. I think this one stick out because the professor did not think I would have enough material to meet the page requires or be a suitable topic. College Term Paper
The one I remember the most fondly was a paper I did for a graduate class on multicultural literature for children and young adults. I learned a lot while writing it, too. I love Word. It'd be nice if it was speedier, though. I hope that's been a priority this time. From what I've seen so far, Office 2011 may well shape up to be the absolute best so far!

Wedding stuff
I used Word for Mac to create the draft of our invitations for our wedding, then used it to print the envelopes (inside and out). This saved us a ton of money, and we were able to match the font to the invitations perfectly, so it looked like we paid someone to do it. Ifi had to pick one, that's my favorite. My brother-in-law is planning his wedding right now, and they've asked me to do the same for them.

A How-to guide, from concept to published in 6 weeks
I wrote a concise how-to guide about Creative Problem Solving (CPS), in just two weeks. Over the next four weeks, I did editing, formatting, page layout, cover design - the whole works, in Word 2008. Six weeks after I started, the book was self-published through lulu.com. and for sale at amazon.

Mac Word Cured my virus
I spent a year fighting PC viruses that threatened to destroy my articles for publication. In desperation, I closed my laptop and walked to an Apple Store in San Francisco. I asked, "Will you teach an old PC person to use a Mac?" They did in five minutes--Dock, Finder, and Downloads. That was all it took.
I bought tha Mac and 12 months later I have published two book chapters and 3 journal articles with Word 2008. My only question is, "Why did I wait so long?

Office for Mac:
I was about to have major surgery and wasn't sure if I would see my wife and kids again. I wrote each one of them a very personal letter in Word. I told each one of them in a very special way, how much I loved them and how very privileged I feel to be my wife's best friend and the father to such wonderful children.
I asked my wife that, if their were complications in my surgery, to deliver my letters to our children.
The great news is that I pulled through just fine. After discussing this with my wife, we decided to share those letters with our children. They were so moved by my personal message that they began writing their own letters to the rest of the family!(All were written in Word)
It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget.
Microsoft Word brought my family closer together!

I am currently going into my 3rd year at Grammar school, and the
document I created on Microsoft Word for Mac was created 3 years ago.
At my primary school, we had to write about our memories that we had
there. I wrote a detailed piece of work explaining my first thoughts,
my favourites etc.
Just from one piece of paper brought tears to several members of staff
and even fellow classmates.
I enjoy creating word documents and have started to improve my skills
on Microsoft Word. I do not own a mac, but use a family members, and
would love to have one to call my own for school use and personal use.

What I am most proud of writing on my Mac
My father died in July 2009, and I never had the chance to grieve for him since my mother was critically ill in intensive care at the time. Unfortunately, she passed away 2 months ago. It was suggested that I write a letter for my dad expressing my feelings for him, experiences we had together, and things I was most of him for. I also told him how thankful I am to have had his love and the legacy of honesty and graciousness to follow for the rest of my life. This letter is what I am most proud of

Speechs!
I generally use Word to craft and/or manipulate all my text. I even write most of my emails (beyond a few lines) and then Copy and paste to Entourage. Only rarely do I need to resort to a more generalized text editor like TextEdit, Tex-Edit or EMACS.
I am an elected official.
I find it particularly useful for writing speeches. Once I have the speech written, spell-checked, and punctuated for publication, I easily prepare a copy to speak from. (I bump up the font size, set the text in to 2 Columns, use Find and Replace to replace commas, and semicolons with NewLines, then re-edit the line breaks, by hand, to mark the continuous phrases and rhetorical pauses.

It's hard to say what I am *most* proud of writing with Word for Mac. I'd have to say all the pieces I've written for clients are very important and Word makes it easy to make changes, edit the layout, work with spacing, fonts, etc., and wrap it all up in a very professional completed product.
Then again, even my journal entries and brainstorming documents come out nice I'm kinda proud of those, too...

I used Word for Mac to complete a very intense and emotionally draining article. This article was published in my High-School's magazine "Loma Linda Academy". My mother suffered from a massive stroke my senior year in high-school. I was alone and had to help her although I was terrified and worried.

Persuasive Essay
Last semester, I wrote an essay on same-sex marriage. My persuasive essay outlined the reasons I think gay marriage should be allowed in all states. I am so proud of this essay because of the hard work and time I put into it, while still enjoying every minute of it. When I am so interested in a topic, it's hard not to do an excellent job. Office for Mac helped me every step of the way, by providing tools for outlines, taking notes, and an excellent set of grammar and spelling tools. This, combined with Microsoft Office for Mac's Powerpoint helped me in getting a 95% on my essay. Without it, I don't think I could have made such a spectacular grade!

Word version on my PC has advantages
What I do not like is that some graphic settings (size of frame boxes for example) etc are not always identical and small manual changes are needed if you pay a lot of attention on quality lay-out after wanting to print the file the same way on Mac then on PC. I also tried iWorks, it was very good program with massive amount of compatibility problems with Office, so I could not see the benefit of using it. OpenOffice is just uncomfortable.
I need Office and mostly Word as day-to-day tool to do most of what I do in consulting business as well as writing articles or books as a hobby or correcting work on my students while sometimes teaching in Universities. In general it is good! Some ways its better then PC version - more available templates, etc. But what truly irritates me is that for some reason it is not keeping fonts in the same format when you copy-and-paste. You have to constantly reformat fonts if they are not your default Mac fonts. That was way better with PC version, never had that kind of a problem. I have tried to find help but have not found heavy users of Word (I probably use most of it if mathematic formulas are left out). Other thing that irritates is that "Open file" windows are passive. In PC they were active for copy-paste and re-arrange files. Here changes and copying of files have to be done in Finder. I have to be honest on that area Windows has been successful to out competition Mac OS X! Even Mac has much other stronger points from Spaces to Security etc.
I like Mac version of Word more for one reason it does not fail so much! When PC version started to fail you needed a restart computer. Here it mostly runs very good. And when it has a problem you Force Quit it and open it and it runs again. Mac is simply better base. Bigger files (I sometimes use word files with size up to 30-50 MB with pictures) run way better on Mac then on PC.
What I miss in my Office 2008 is Outlook and Access. The last was heavily used by me and right now it seems to be one of the view reasons (besides lacking MapInfo ProView) why I consider to install Parallels and Windows to Mac. What is way-way better in Mac Office is Powerpoint. Totally other level! I like it a lot as it is second most used program by me.
One thing - if you could add a simple photo editor to Office that does not copy files into it a la iPhoto a la Photo Editor or Picture Manager. It would make communication with pictures way easier with PC world as well as with MS Word, Powerpoint etc. Photoshop etc are good tools but way to fancy and expensive for me who is not professional on photography. Add something like this and I see added value in Office 2011!

Seamless Windows-Mac-Windows transition
I can take such documents created at work on a Windows PC home to my Mac, modify in Office for Mac and return to work - formating and all specialities of linking and special fields are peerfect! This is very very good!
Only one improvement is desired. I would like the keyboard shortcuts in Office, especially in Excel; to be harmonized. A program internal list of such would also be a good thing (it is missing in both Win and Mac versions)

My Dad's Eulogy
I posted this on Twitter a couple of days ago, but for those of you who missed it, here's a link to the document that I'm most proud of writing on a Mac using Word. Just a month prior to his passing, I bought a brand new 17" MBP and a copy of Office for Mac. This was the first *important* item I wrote using Office 2004 - and it's still my most important - and the one I'm proudest of.
I added a few pictures of my Dad to the page....as well as a rendition of "Feed the Birds." I hope you have a few tears in your eyes by the time you get to the end - and then go hug your Mom and/or Dad.

For those that missed it, this is a repeat from a Tweet I sent last week. I wrote my Dad's Eulogy three years ago - about a month after buying a MBPro and Office 2004. It's definitely the work I'm most proud of - although I wish every single day that the need hadn't arisen. As for the snowglobe - I know it's become a treasured item by my Mom; prominently placed in her home and certainly not within reach of her grandchildren.

I am pioneering the paperless dissertation with Word for Mac
As far as I can tell, no one else has written a dissertation without using a single piece of paper. I've begun chronicling how I wrote a Paperless Dissertation on my blog (just can't bring myself to the shameless self-promotion point, although I'd really love to post my url) to try and spread an idea to students everywhere that a more productive, efficient, and less wasteful way of writing is already here.
For me, Word for Mac became a tool for life. No other word processor offers the depth and breadth of tools that I need to complete highly complex and detailed documents. Done and done. Don't know what I would have done without it.

Dissertation!
When I switched to Macs several years ago I had just finished my Master's in Education. I had designs on starting a Ph.D. program but was honestly scared that my documents would not be compatible for my professors.
I took the plunge with MS Office for Mac 2004. I quickly found out that I was able to send documents back and forth with my colleagues and professors without any issues. I am able to see their tracked changes, suggestions, clarifications, and general comments without problem.
So then I upgraded to MS Office 2008. This upgrade absolutely made my day because it handles complicated bibliographies with ease! As it stands now, my dissertation has more than 100 references.
I exported the bibliography from a program called Papers, which exports directly into MS Word 2008. I then write my results, and can cite with total ease. I have completely removed EndNote X2 in favor of the Office 2008 bibliography tool. It's wonderful.
So my work continues.
Oh wait, why am I here commenting? I need to go back to work on my dissertation.

First one was a love letter I have made, while flying to Seattle WA. I was supposed to be a birthday gift for my girlfriend by her best friends. I had no idea how beautiful it'd be, until I saw happy tears in her eyes. But 'til then I worked on a small love letter, wrote down a poem I have made, had a nice background picture of us 2, and "I love you forever" cover. Thing is, Office For Mac is just so intelligent, and I love the way how I'm able to save the document as .PDF
2nd one is, I had this small trouble with group of people back in High school. They used to call me by weird names, and let me down. I've finally went to the deans office, and told 'em about what happens. They then told me to write a report, include everybody's names and so much more. I went home after school that day, sat on my computer, fired up Word for Mac. Then I realized none of those guys deserved a suspension, and it would only bring more trouble. I ended up writing what causes a trouble, why teenagers let one another down, why their friends add fire to the fight. It was then featured in my high school's Student Diary / Student Hand Book next year

A Document For The Ages- Written On Word For Mac
After two consecutive years of using all of his vacation time to take numerous certification exams, and after graduating with a brand new degree (with highest honors),he was turned down over and over again for positions for which he was well qualified- without any explanation given.
Very discouraged, he was ready to give up and look outside the company, which would mean he would lose seniority and his earned vacation, in addition to leaving a company in which he had made many friends and was considered to be a valuable employee.
I offered to help him draft a letter to the company's new CEO, who had made several public statements about wanting the company to thrive and welcoming employee input. He was somewhat reluctant, feeling it might be regarded as insolent by the corporate staff.
Together we wrote a very heartfelt, respectful letter, explaining the situation and how although my husband would prefer to remain at the company, if he could not have his efforts and education recognized, he would have no choice but to leave and seek opportunities elsewhere.
We really had no idea when we sent it off if the CEO would even see it, much less respond, but I think it helped my husband to document the situation and his feelings about it.
Two weeks after the letter was sent, my husband was called into his supervisor's office. He was told that it had been requested from the corporate office that he be hand-delivered an envelope from the CEO.
Nervously he opened it, and was surprised to find a hand written note from the CEO, thanking him for his well-worded letter, and promising to have someone call him from HR within the next few days.
He did receive that call, and a meeting was arranged to review his situation. On the way back from that meeting, he received a call that they had already found him a relevant position, and he was on his way to a new career- one which he had worked very hard to realize.
They also told him that his letter had alerted the CEO to problems with their hiring practices that he wanted rectified immediately.
So, my husband got his dream job, and ended up helping others within the company realize their own dreams as well.
And all because of a letter that almost didn't get written.

Letters to Grandma
Now, some 13 years after my grandfather's death, I still like writing to my grandmother, who now at the age of 90 always sends a reply sans corrections. I type up my letters in Word, and she always sends back an old fashioned, hand-written note. That’s always a nice incentive to keep writing and mailing.

The Strategic Business Plan was created to forecast & document the organization's 5 year activities, market strategies, financial budget, & production. I detailed the products & lines of businesses that would be offered over that 5 year period, the new market areas that would be pursued, new & relevant organizational changes, financial historical data & forecasts for the 5 year period as well as production historical data & forecasts for the 5 year period.
As an avid Apple user & lover of their products, I attempted to carry out this task using iWork but found it to be lacking in the complex & advanced areas that I have grown accustomed to in Office platforms. After much frustration, we purchased Office for Mac and I was able to efficiently & effectively complete the Strategic Business Plan as well as many other business documents such as leases, contracts, billing statements, business proposals & many others.

Word: Through the Good Times and the Bad...
I was scared to death to write an essay in my college English Composition. I didn’t want a repeat of the AP English nightmare. Finally, I got tired of being afraid. When we received our first assignment—an essay about our biggest failure—I sat down at the computer and poured my heart out to Word about that AP English class. I stopped worrying about punctuation and grammar, concentrating solely on putting words to my emotions.
When I got my essay back, the last page bore the comment, “I’m really going to enjoy reading your work this term!” I had finally found whatever I’d previously been lacking and it felt amazing. That wasn’t my best essay ever, but it’s definitely memorable for me because that’s when I finally gained confidence in my writing. I can’t help but thank Word for the part it played in that victory.

I was scared to death to write an essay in my college English Composition. I didn’t want a repeat of the AP English nightmare. Finally, I got tired of being afraid. When we received our first assignment—an essay about our biggest failure—I sat down at the computer and poured my heart out to Word about that AP English class. I stopped worrying about punctuation and grammar, concentrating solely on putting words to my emotions.

Getting over a crush
While I was involved in a theatrical production, I got a crush (no surprise there) on an attractive girl I'd been in a class with the year before (I had a crush on another girl so I kind of ignored her back then). We got along for a while, but as I wrote her a poem she had already decided that she wanted to be left alone - and all contact suddenly ceased. I was... crushed... because she wouldn't tell me what I'd done wrong.
A few months later, my Comp class gets assigned a Narrative Essay, and I decide the best way to fully "get over it" is to write about my experience. I got an A both in my mind and in my grade.

A Magical Brief...
I wrote my first brief to the Supreme Court in Microsoft Word. On a Mac. I still have the fifteen or so versions of the document saved in a yellow-highlighted, all-caps folder named "SC BRIEF DONT DELETE". Granted, I only wrote the brief less than a year ago, but I have yet to ever write another document that I have been more proud of.

My course assignment on Moving Image Education.
I used Office for mac to write my assignment as it made it easy for me to make links within the document to the video and photograph sections of my assignment. It worked like a dream and did such a good job that I got a pass with distinction, a very good grade her in bonnie auld Scotland.
I used word to write up the assignment, powerpoint to deliver the presentation that was also part othe task and endnote to add all the citations that I always find difficult. Together they made my task all that much easier, they didn't let me down so all I had to do was get my part of the whole thing down there! What a partnership we were! I was so proud of the end product it made me desparate to share it with my tutors and they were very happy at how I had used the software and had integrated film and photographs as well as spoken comments from children into my work.
I give full marks to Office for mac, a trusted friend and a shoulder to lean on!

Pro Bono Translations for GREENPEACE, Europe of e.g. Sustainable Fishing Reports
HOWEVER -- as far as translators are concerned, MS made a big (nearly unforgiveable) mistake when it eliminated VBA macros from its WORD 2008 functions for Mac users.
Professional translators MUST use macros/VBA whenever we work for almost any translation agency, for most agencies demand that we deliver our texts formatted according to TRADOS or Wordfast or similar CAT tools (no ifs, ands or buts). They demand this because they insist on counting and comparing the so-called translation units for similar formulations, 100% repetitions and accounting purposes. These units are perfectly delineated with VBA macros. Or they were, until Microsoft decided we Mac users shouldn't have that function anymore....
Thus, at present I can only use an online CAT tool in a very limited "cloud", which my agency clients do NOT appreciate.
So "thanks" to this MS whim, many of us WORD for Mac users have lost crucial accounts and income. Therefore we're looking forward to the next version of WORD, as we've heard (!) you're correcting this in WORD 2010(?). If so, it can't come soon enough.

Office for Mac:
I asked my wife that, if their were complications in my surgery, to deliver my letters to our children.
The great news is that I pulled through just fine. After discussing this with my wife, we decided to share those letters with our children. They were so moved by my personal message that they began writing their own letters to the rest of the family!(All were written in Word)
It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget.
Microsoft Word brought my family closer together!

school use.
I am currently going into my 3rd year at Grammar school, and the
document I created on Microsoft Word for Mac was created 3 years ago.
At my primary school, we had to write about our memories that we had
there. I wrote a detailed piece of work explaining my first thoughts,
my favourites etc.
Just from one piece of paper brought tears to several members of staff
and even fellow classmates.
I enjoy creating word documents and have started to improve my skills
on Microsoft Word. I do not own a mac, but use a family members, and
would love to have one to call my own for school use and personal use.

Speechs!
I am an elected official.
I find it particularly useful for writing speeches. Once I have the speech written, spell-checked, and punctuated for publication, I easily prepare a copy to speak from. (I bump up the font size, set the text in to 2 Columns, use Find and Replace to replace commas, and semicolons with NewLines, then re-edit the line breaks, by hand, to mark the continuous phrases and rhetorical pauses.
