Mactopia: Student Select and Office for Mac 2008

Good day,

I was considering to purchase Office for Mac 2004 via the Student
Select program at my university (http://
www.campustechshop.uwaterloo.ca/software_main.html) when I heard about
the upcoming Office for Mac 2008.

I'm left with a couple of questions:

1. Will licenses for Office for Mac 2008 also be available through the
Student Select program? (and how long does this process usually take?)

(Of course, only the 2004 version is currently listed at
http://www.microsoft.com/Education/StudentSelect.mspx)

2. Is a license purchased in this way eligible for either of the two
current promotions?

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/go/promotions/
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/go/promotions/supersuitedeal/

Any help is greatly appreciated.

David
