<description>Since installing office 2008 on my macbook pro with OSX 10.4.11, any download I make automatically appends a template extension regardless of the extension on the file. So a file &quot;XYZ.ppt&quot; would download and be &quot;XYZ.ppt.pot&quot;. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This has also been noted by others in the Apple discussions for Safari.  &lt;br&gt;
