When will we get motion path animation in Powerpoint on the Mac?

No-one within the MacBU seems able to address this question. There are 4 things that stopped me from buying Office 2008.

1. Loss of Endnote functionality - this is fixed
2. Horrible interface - hopefully the next version will go back to the 2004 interface - what were they thinking?
3. Loss of VBA - not a complete deal breaker for me, but again in the 'what were they thinking' category.
4. Motion path animation - it's been in Windows Office since 2003, and Mac Office can play them just fine. Why can't we create them and edit them?

Looks like I'll be waiting for Mac Office 2012....

extra templates/themes for use with office 2008 mac (from office 2007)

have seen on this link that new templates are available, and can be used with office 2008 for mac. Tried to download them, nothing happens.
Anyone aware of these, and if / how they can be used with mac office 2008? Many thanks for any help - much appreciated!
