Dictionary does not exist

I am using office for mac 2008, and i am extremely frustrated as my "dictionary" all of a sudden does not exist and i am unable to add words during spell check. No one seems able to help. i am desperate, as there is an error that keeps appearing when you open word.

Good Indication of bugs

It says "Register to attend" but you get nothing except a page listing the venues. No way to register. If there is, I haven't found it and if that's the "user friendly" approach to explaining how wonderful Office 2008 is going to be, hoo-boy!

Initial comments

Dear Office for the Mac folks:

I was anxious to get your new 2008 version. I must confess that so far, I'm disappointed, as I can no longer create macros, and I have to remember to save in old formats for the benefit of those who don't have the new version. I may be missing something here, but thus far, it seems like a step back, at least for perhaps naturally slow people like me.

Please consider bringing back macros in your next version.

How about a Webminar instead?

It seems you could instruct more people if you had a webminar instead of going from city to city. In fact, you could have multiple versions in the event you wanted to separate and deal in more detail the new word, excel, PP, etc.

Any Kind of Help Desk/Easy fix/DIY section here?

Maybe I am just lost in here, but is there a place to look up known fixes in here? I mean not all of us are IT Pro's or even IT geeks. Some of us just want to personalise/fix things and if there was a counter here where I could get the info, it would be appreciated.
So if some could point me in the direction of the self help desk, that would be great!
