So no docx for MacOS 10.3.9 users?
I am still running 10.3.9 on my iBook and don't see why I should change anything about that perfectly stable and smoothly running system.

Open XML converter - well done
Unlike the beta it is fully integrated in to Word, Excel etc. meaning that you can open .docx files directly (the beta required manually convert the file to RTF). So this shipping version works the way I would have hoped and desired (as a proper solution).
So this is now two pieces of Microsoft software that have actually exceeded my expectations! (RDC 2 being the other).
Microsoft still have a very long way to go to get completely out of my bad books though, but here is hoping.
Here is a to do list for you Microsoft (in no particular order)
1. Add support for right-to-left languages in Word. Mac OS X has fully supported this for years, and plenty of third-part applications including OpenOffice can do this.
2. Video and Voice in Microsoft Messenger. I am aware this is going to be done when the Windows version moves to the new protocols, but it would have been possible for you to have allowed Mac to Mac now using the new protocols and for a change let the Windows side catch up.
3. Add PST support to Entourage. You know full well this is pretty much the number 1 request, and you still stubbornly refuse to do it. This makes even Entourage 2008 worse at being an Outlook client than Outlook 2001 for Mac OS 9.
4. Aim at feature parity with the Windows equivalents. For example SharePoint is effectively unusable on Macs with Office.
I am not listing VBA since you have apparently already realised the error of your ways over this.
It goes without saying that you still have completely failed to improve your reputation for shipping very slow and buggy Mac software (Office 2008).
PS. It would be nice to see a new or at least revived product from Microsoft. Where is FlightSimulator for example? This alone would probably sell in excess of 1 million copies to Mac users if released.
