Can I flag some improvements?
I live by my to-do list but there's a couple of small things that would make it an even better productivity tool.
In the to-do view (the to-do list) I'd like an improvement to updating the start date/due date/reminder columns without leaving the to-do view. Currently to update the start or due dates, you need to type the new date in full (i.e. "Friday, 6 March 2009"). It would be much easier if a calendar pop-up let me simply click on Friday. Also, typing in 'Today' doesn't work, I'd need to type in 'Tuesday, 3 March 2009' to get it to update to today.
Other dream options are to be able to flag to-dos on selections within emails (multiple times), instead of the whole email (similar to the Apple Mail app) and also be able to group to-do's into temporary projects or mega-to-do's would be excellent.
Lastly, being able to drag to-dos to the calendar to block out time to accomplish them would help me greatly.
Thanks in advance

I use the Project Center to group my tasks and to-dos. That works for me because I tend to work on things with lots of stuff (mail, calendar events, tasks, files). If you haven't tried the Project Center yet, you might want to give it a go and see if that helps you out.
I find that if I end up with multiple tasks from an email, I use the script to create a task from the email instead of creating a to-do. When you're reading the email with lots of tasks for you, go to the script menu in Entourage (that's the last one), select "Create Task from Message". That will create a task, which you can edit as you please.
When setting the start or due date for your to-do, and you select the "choose date" option, click the little calendar icon to the right of the date field. That will give you a calendar pop-up and let you select your date.

Thanks for the suggestions - there are a few things in scripts I hadn't found but wanted. Will those scripts become buttons or standard dropdown options in future versions of Entourage? I'm confused why these features are under scripts?
Project Centre - not a fan. The wizard is too much set up - I'm talking about a flexible system that allows me to drag multiple tasks together for a couple of days - tasks & sub-tasks. Project Centre feels too big.
I'm aware of 'choose date' and I use it a lot, however I was referring to the to-do view. Updating dates there is nigh impossible, and going up to the To Do Flag then picking 'choose date' seems like unnecessary additional steps.
