Paul was the first Mac MVP specializing in Entourage in Fall 1999 and was in the original group designated as Macintosh MVPs. He is an expert in AppleScript, the programming language on the Macintosh. He participates actively in the Entourage newsgroup microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage, in microsoft.public.mac.office, the Word Mac newsgroup, the Entourage Mac Talk mailing list and the AppleScript-Users mailing list.

They include the Export-Import Entourage, used especially by people coming to Entourage from Outlook on the PC, Sync Entourage-Address Book for syncing Entourage with Apple's Address Book and Sync Entourtage-iCal. Export-Import Entourage has been acclaimed by the O'Reilly Mac Center, and is often recommended by both Apple and Microsoft tech support.
Paul has been technical proofreader for several books on AppleScript: AppleScript: The Definitive Guide (O'Reilly) and AppleScript in a Nutshell (O'Reilly) and helped do the same informally for Apple's AppleScript Studio Terminology Reference.
Paul has a completely other life, with no connection to computers: he is a concert pianist, with many classical CDs on Meridian Records (UK), and is a Professor of Piano at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Daiya Mitchell actually thinks Word is somewhat intuitive, although she realizes that's only because she's been brainwashed by using it so intensively.
